That is an excellent question I know I will probably ask why is it so hot and why do some people have to be so mean and why do people hate another race all because of the color of their skin. I would have many things on that list but when I think about it I don't have to wait and pretend He is my room mate I can go to Him anytime and ask those questions...AMEN

I would try to get along with my roommate for starters.  Then later in the day when we both have nothing much to do and we are just chilling with nothing else on, I would say "So what about this problem of evil thing?" The next day when we are no longer roommates I would start my write up on the word of God as a thesis submission for my PhD.  My moment of truth would then be, should I include an attribution for God?

I don't mind being marked down when I am being daft or not contributing to a question, but. This is Religion and Philosophy, what is a bigger question than "The problem of evil." I even try to hi-light evil through a suggestion of plagiarising God.

Thats kinda a wake up question. It helps us to know whether we believe he is always with us or not, Great question

I don't feel to ask anything from Him. Just  i feel happy in keeping looking at Him for the whole night! For, as He is the universe, what else is required ?

Good Question. A book I have been composing title is Who are You, Jesus Was My Roommate, I Am Surviving Manic-Depression. Remembering those days of study, whom the roommate was, I simply would say "grab me a soda if you are going to be near the fridge." I have a different hub in mind for today. I have copy/pasted into the hub idea file for another time. When is the question.

I ask forgiveness of those who disliked my answer. I would have to say your are correct. The roommate was Jesus not God. ooopsss. Seems perception is reality according to many philosophical thought(s). If Christian read Galatians 2:20 then ponder. .

God is already my roommate.  Nothing to do but be.

That was going to by my reply, Jewels!  Great minds think alike!  :-) During one period of  my life I wrote a letter to God every day - and answered them in writing.  It was an amazing eye-opener for me.

God has been my "roommate" for years. We have talked about everything... Most of it I don't understand. My religious hubs are all about those conversations/questions/answers/behaviors, etc...

    Enjoy!

As I replied to Jewels' comment, that is the essence of my reply to this question.  Besides - my feeling is: Where is God NOT if he's God?  I certainly wouldn't quibble with any thing he does or doesn't do.  I'd just keep listening and learning.

first of all, I would tell him to feel free to change things if there are things that should not be there. I would serve him a wonderful meal and ask him to just teach me and speak to me. I would just listen and maybe ask questions. We could sit in the garden sipping Iced Tea and enjoy each others company.

Wow!!!!  First I would sit with Him and just like I would treat an Elder, I would listen to every word He would have to say.  I would love to spend the day sharing the joys of His creations.  We would walk through some beautiful woods, with critters chattering at our feet.  Listen and groove to the birds singing and rocking in the tree limbs.  I would love to be His dance partner to Rock n Robin!  We would sit by a brook and If I asked Him any question at all...it would only be, "Would you please sanctify me with this water at our feet?".  I would be so so so content...

I just think I would feel wonderful being around his presence and I wouldn't ask him anything because he would already know the questions of my heart.  His presence would be my blessing.

GIVE GOD JOY By BERNARD LEVINE

The most beautiful eyes in the universe

watches over us with passionate love

The most powerful hands that there is

protects us with awesome strength and care

The kindest heart you will ever find

flows with boundless grace and forgiveness

There’s so much tenderness in God’s Spirit

There’s so much giving in God’s nature

When we look for a true friend,

God’s compassion is always there for us

    When we need deliverance,

    God’s help is so mighty

The most valuable treasure in the whole world

    is that Jesus loves you

    Give

    God

    joy in praise and appreciation

    for all His wonderful gifts.

I'd go on a picnic with some Tofurkey sandwiches, maybe do some rock climbing and cloud watching.  It kind of depends what God would feel like doing, but a picnic would be cool.  And maybe a hike.

Of course, I would be beyond being able to control my bowing, scraping and praising of Him, but once I got a grip, I would ask Him if he was hungry or tired, needed anything that I could provide and hopefully, sit around and chew over some disturbing topics.  Ii would discuss with Him how I pray every night for all the suffering babies, children and adults in the world through poverty, abandonment, disease, starvation, dehydration, and how that is a very hard thing to do, to ask Him to save the whole world, and also the animals in it as well.  But, I would still ask Him to please do that because it does seem impossible to all but Him.  I would ask for peace in the world, the beginning of a new period of spiritual enlightenment for all the world leaders, and to personally bless my friends and family with love, good health and prosperity.  Finally, I would ask for everyone to be forgiven and allow us all to enter heaven for eternity with Him.  Then I would ask Him to hold me so I could feel what it's like to be held by the Personification of  Love and Infinity.........

...unfortunately I'm not into idol-worship, but do believe that there is a power that drives, guides, protects, and watches us all the time...no, I'm not an atheist...I've just not found my link between me and the God...

Now to answer my own question...as much as I'm amazed at the wit, variety, innocence of my fellow hub mates, my answer is very simple...
...I would just cuddle...cuddle...cuddle...cuddle...cuddle...into God's embrace (my image of God has no form, just a soft comfy light) and go to sleep...wouldn't ask anything to the all-knowing, wouldn't behave in my best behaviour as God sees me in all my different behaviours (nothing to hide!), wouldn't offer food because the God's image I carry in my heart does not eat (only mortals eat - God being immortal!!!), and what is there to share...to who has given me everything - good and bad? And just continue to cuddle until I wake up refreshed and have an awesome sense of energy to deal with whatever life puts me through...I believe I'd be a changed person...

...until such a miracle happens...I'll keep trying towards being a better person everyday...smile

Jewels has answered the question well. I am sure God is always very close to me. He is not only my room-mate but he lives inside of me all the time and runs my body and my mind.

However to answer your question; If I find God embodied in a person and living with me as my room mate all that I will do is prostrate myself and worship Him as long as he lives with me.
